Try Scan-n-Stitch.

How it Works With My Programs

1. Start Scan-n-Stitch and scan each page of your pattern.
2. It will join those page images into one complete image.
3. Save that to a file.
4. To get that into the Rapid Resizer, just choose Open from its File menu. In the Pattern Wizard, choose "Load from Picture File" from its "Background" menu.

I've used it. It's simple and does what it promises.
